Due to schedule conflicts during the weekdays, Stroller Derby will be resuming on Saturday mornings. We will meet Saturday, April 16 at 10am on the Trinity Trail. Meeting location is in the parking lot behind Macaroni Grill/Ol' South on University. There is a trail entrance right across from the lot.

Babbling Babes
Hey moms and dads. Ever want to send grandma more than just a photo of your blooming, babbling babe, but don't want to hassle with video? Want to be able to send a talking photo with a couple of clicks or with your iPhone. Check out Fotobabble!
I was in a meeting last week with the folks at Fotobabble about how we can promote its use to our non-profit clients and how it can enhance their messaging. So, as I wanted to start digging into this cool new tool to learn about how it could be useful to my clients, I was able to have some fun playing around with it with pictures of Wyatt. I found it so simple and quick to use that, of course, I wanted to share this! All you have to do is upload a picture (or link to one already on Facebook) and record your voice through your computer. And, you're done! That's it....they give you a link to where you can view your talking photos, you can add them to your Facebook page or even grab a snippet of code to paste into a blog. Try it out; I'm sure grandma will enjoy getting a picture of your babbling babe. Check out my example below:

Just a quick note that we will be meeting today, Wednesday, March 23rd on the Trinity Trail at the park entrance off of University directly across the street from Hoffbrau Steaks. It is right next to Panera Bread as well (if you are familiar with that). Click here to see a map. Directly after Hoffbrau, take a right onto Riverfront Drive. You will see a parking lot for the trail entrance directly on the left. You may also park along the street.

First Meetup
Our first meet up will be on Monday, March 21st at Trinity Trail. We'll meet on the trail entrance by the parking lot behind Ol' South on University. There is a hotel right next to Ol' South and you can park directly behind it. You'll see us in the cul-de-sac with our strollers out and ready to go. We'll do around 3 miles. Feel free to walk or jog, or do a combination of "wogging".

Welcome to Stroller Derby! Stroller Derby is a group of moms and gal pals who are looking to get back into shape or stay in shape all while getting some good quality time with friends and baby. Whether you prefer to walk, jog , "wog" or run, Stroller Derby has the right pace for you. We'll discuss milestones and common things you run into being a mom, as well as health and fitness. We'll also plan some "moms-night-out" activities and other fun outings for our little bambinos. Come on out on Monday and Wednesday afternoons on the Trinity Trail and meet other moms and babies.
